Kids Ocean Day is an educational program and annual beach event that specializes in school outreach and coastal quality issues. The focus is on how littering on the streets damages the beaches, ocean and marine animals. Kids Ocean Day provides free, interactive presentations to high-needs students in Los Angeles area schools. Kids Ocean Day educates students on their environmental impact and the steps they can take to heal our planet. At the conclusion of the program, all participating schools come together for a one-day beach clean-up and art event— bringing thousands of kids to experience the beach and discover the beauty of the ocean.
